The 205 Reset Content status code indicates that the server has successfully processed the request, but that there is no content to return. This status code is commonly used in response to a POST request since POST requests typically result in changes to the server state (e.g., database updates).

When a 205 status code is received in response to a request, the client should reset the document view and refresh any cached resources. The client can then proceed to fetch the updated content from the server.

The 205 status code is often used together with the Location header to redirect the user agent to a different resource after the request has been processed.
