Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and results, blending cutting-edge tools with creative problem-solving to outpace the competition in the fast-evolving digital landscape.
We’re seeking a talented SEO strategist to join our team and lead SEO initiatives for our SaaS clients. This role is perfect for someone passionate about search optimization, with a knack for translating complex data into actionable insights that fuel business success.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research tailored to SaaS audiences, identifying high-intent opportunities for content and optimization that align with client goals like churn reduction and lead generation.
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, including editorial calendar planning, technical audits, on-page optimizations, and off-page tactics, to improve organic rankings and drive conversions and qualified traffic.
- Analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, MS Clarity, and similar platforms, providing data-backed recommendations to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the content team, developers, and client stakeholders to optimize site architecture, content, meta elements, internal linking, and technical SEO elements specific to SaaS platforms.
- Build and manage backlink strategies that enhance domain authority, focusing on high-quality, relevant links from tech and SaaS ecosystems.
- Perform competitive analysis to uncover gaps and opportunities, benchmarking against industry peers in the SaaS space.
- Monitor algorithm updates, emerging trends (like AI-driven search), and SaaS-specific best practices, adapting strategies to maintain long-term performance.
- Create detailed reports and presentations on SEO metrics, ROI, and progress, communicating insights clearly to non-technical clients.
- Integrate SEO with broader marketing efforts, such as content marketing, PPC, and digital PR campaigns, to support holistic growth for SaaS clients.
- Present SEO performance reports and strategy updates to clients during monthly meetings, collaborating with account managers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Embody our core values of innovation, client-centricity, and results-orientation in all interactions.
- Maintain organized documentation of strategies, audits, and client communications for seamless team collaboration.
- Take ownership of projects, proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions to exceed client expectations.
- Stay ahead of the curve by sharing knowledge on SEO trends and tools within the team.
- Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, balancing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A typical week might include:
- 25% Internal team meetings and strategy brainstorming.
- 10% Client calls and presentations.
- 65% Hands-on client work, such as audits, research, optimizations, editorial calendar planning, and reporting.
You could be a great fit if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven SEO experience, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment, with a track record of improving organic performance and revenue impact.
- Strong proficiency in SEO tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO, including HTML/CSS basics, site speed optimization, and schema markup relevant to SaaS products.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and derive insights, paired with strong communication abilities to explain concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with content strategy that drives engagement and conversions in competitive markets.
- Certifications in SEO (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) are a plus.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a consultancy setting.
Technical requirements:
- Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office setup.
What we offer at Productive Shop:
