Starting in 2017, the renovation team saw the need to reinvent the industry with a digital-first approach. You see, home renovations are a very crowded marketplace with an extremely low barrier to entry, which leads to staggering quality issues in workmanship. The Easy reno team solves the problem by providing clients with 3D renderings of their dream interior builds and, after revisions, they source top-quality products to build exactly what was approved by the client. This process delivers quite literally a picture-perfect final design.

Surrounded by a hyper-crowded market, Easy Reno needed an edge over operational mediocracy

Lack of operational visibility and attribution reporting:

Like most businesses in the hyper-growth stage, Easy Renovation was stuck in a fragmented environment. They used a mix of Excel sheets and a CRM system that did not meet the needs of an expanding business. There was no one source of truth to understand sales volumes, sales efforts, forecasted pipeline and marketing attribution for lead generation.

It’s no easy feat to lift and move from existing business processes and onto a new stack. We ran a technology diligence cycle to select and show the benefit of moving over to a modern CRM system that ties in most of the sales and marketing technology stack via one-click connectors.

Dedicated dashboards, per team, were set up in order to track paid search, organic search, social and offline sales and marketing efforts. This insight helped leadership cut costs from inefficient lead channels and into revenue-generating ones.

Clear reporting helped understand which forms, pages and keywords were driving the most local search and paid search users mapped to a specific page. This way, local pages and the forms on those pages were tuned to better perform in local search, leading to better lead acquisition.
